  • Participants will tour the D’Amico House to view Mabel D’Amico’s gestural mosaics

Inspired by Mabel D’Amico’s gestural, mixed media mosaic artworks, this workshop will explore mosaic-making through an experimental and intuitive lens. Using wide-ranging and non-traditional materials including glass, paint, found objects and natural materials, participants will learn traditional and exploratory mosaic-making practices to form abstract or representational compositions. A critique will be held on the last day of class.
