The drawing class is ideal for beginners who want to learn basic drawing skills as well as being suitable for more experienced artists who wish to further their skills.  Using a blend of traditional methods combined with contemporary knowledge, the drawing class will cover the basics of visual language: line, form, composition, light and shadow, and gesture and explore conventional and unconventional ways of seeing: contour, automatic blind, scribble, and contrast.    Various subject matters will be used from still life, landscape, portrait, to the imagination and students will experiment with different drawing materials such as charcoal, graphite, conte crayon, markers, pastels, and chalks.
