The Children’s Art Studio offers an immersive weeklong creative education experience for children. Based on Mabel and Victor D’Amico’s renowned Children’s Art Carnival, this motivation-based educational approach empowers participants to dive into their own unique creative process and discover the joy of artistic expression. Lessons and studio time include a dynamic array of indoor and outdoor drawing, painting, collage, and/or sculpture activities, inviting young artists to explore materials, ideas and the natural world around them. 

This week for 9–11 year olds focuses on assemblage and found-object construction centered on birds and aviary life, inviting students to create imaginative, sculptural works inspired by the natural world. The Art Barge provides all materials and its inspiring seaside setting to support a meaningful creative experience.

Strictly for Ages 9 to 11.
