CHILDREN’S ART CARNIVAL: SEA with Daniel Vernola (Ages 6-8 yrs)

The Art Barge was founded on Victor D’Amico’s vision to create a unique arts education in a place that was “more dramatic [than a regular classroom] and reflecting the character of the environment—sky, sea, and salt air…” The Sea, Sky & Salt Air Children’s Carnival does just that — It offers an immersive week-long creative education experience for children, inspired by the unparalleled landscape and natural world surrounding The Art Barge.
This week of Children’s classes will guide 6-8 year olds through a dynamic array of indoor and outdoor art-making experiences focused on the sea and aquatic life. Artistic motivations in drawing, painting, collage, and/or sculpture centered around the sea will help children develop their own unique, creative process and expression.
