GLASS FUSING: STRIPS, STRINGERS & STENCILS with Idee Simon (p.m.)

- Open to artists with previous glass experience
- All supplies provided
- Participants can tour the D’Amico House midweek
Designed for glass artists with previous glass cutting experience, this workshop expands technical and creative approaches to glass fusing through three focused projects: One with scrap glass, one with stringers, and one with stencils and powder. Through demonstrations and guided studio work, participants refine and develop their cutting skills, color studies, and techniques. Emphasis is placed on experimentation, control, and advancing individual glass skills. Participants must have some experience in glass fusing, and be comfortable in cutting glass. A critique will be held on the last day of class.
Note: This workshop is designed for students with previous Glass Fusing experience. Beginners should enroll in an introductory class. Check out Intro to Glass Fusing.
