Explore the expressive possibilities of paper-based materials and the accessible and expansive medium of collage. Using paper-based materials only, explore how to create compelling visuals through the principles of balance, proportion, unity, line, shape, texture, color, and space. Creative prompts and thought-provoking discussions on materials, processes, and art historical references encourage new and experienced artists to expand their artistic voice and discover new ways of working with the paper medium. A critique will be held on the last day of class.
