• Open to all levels, but previous painting experience encouraged 
• Some materials provided; Bring your own paint and brushes 

This course will guide the experienced painter through unique experiments and explorations in alternative approaches to painting with acrylic and water-based paints. A wide range of paint surfaces, applications, brushwork and discussions will be employed to encourage individual styles to grow and radically evolve over a brief but intense period. Particular emphasis will be placed on experimenting with paints and mediums to build texture and dimensionality, alongside color studies to enhance the energy, mood, and uniqueness of each artist’s work. A critique will be held on the last day of class.
