WRITING: Stories of Sea, Sky & Salt Air with Maryann Calendrille
THIS CLASS RUNS ON WEDNESDAYS ONLY 4:30 – 6:30 PM. JUNE 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.

• This four part series is held each Wednesday throughout June
• Open to all levels, but previous writing experience helpful
• Supplies: Basic writing supplies provided, but please bring any preferred writing materials

How might we write our connection to the natural world in ways that move others? This four-series workshop offers participants time in deep observation of place while honing writing skills to capture the sea, sky and sands that surround us at Napeague and beyond. In the unique locations of the D’Amico Home & Studio and The Art Barge, this class will discuss short readings by published writers; practice writing prompts on location; and share creative commentary on one another’s works-in-progress.
