Delve into traditional transparent watercolors with a series of set-ups, exercises, and demonstrations as motivational inspiration, with a particular emphasis on plein air watercolor in and around the Barge landscape and at the D’Amico House, weather depending. Experiment with techniques of washes, dry brush, wet-on-wet, and other water-based pigments such as gouache and acrylics on an array of watercolor media and papers. More experienced participants may bring the watercolor supplies they have. A critique will be held on the last day of class.
