WATERCOLOR with Jim Bergesen (p.m.)

Explore the properties of traditional transparent watercolors and other water-based pigments with a series of set-ups, exercises, and demonstrations as motivational inspiration. Combine watercolors with other water-based pigments such as gouache, and acrylics.  Experiment with the techniques of washes, dry brush and wet-on-wet, etc. Emphasis will be placed on becoming more confident in the use of watercolor media and papers. The Barge will provide all basic materials for beginners, but it is suggested that more experienced participants bring the watercolor supplies they have.
