Inspired by Mabel and Victor D’Amico’s innovative teaching practices, this course introduces the beginner painter to techniques and applications in tempera and acrylic paint, and elements of drawing and collage. In a supportive and energizing studio environment, participants will explore composition, color mixing, abstraction and observation to discover their own visual voice. Participants should bring an open mind and willingness to explore the potential of painting. A critique will be held on the last day of class.
