• Participants will tour the D’Amico House midweek to view Mabel D’Amico’s assemblage artworks

Create dimensional constructions for wall pieces, standing sculptures and mobiles using natural and man-made found objects. Through demonstrations/motivations/exercises, participants will explore the possibilities of using various found object materials for creating their own artworks. Participants can bring materials that have personal value to them for use in their artwork (personal treasures, photographs, natural objects, or ‘imaginings’), and a variety will be provided. Battery and electric tool usage will be taught. A critique will be held on the last day of class.
