Explore the alchemy of the ancient art of wet-felting, the process of blending wool fibers together using bubble wrap, soap, water and elbow grease to create an incredibly strong and versatile fabric. Participants will be introduced to the basic techniques of laying out wool fiber and processing the material into both 2 and 3 dimensional felted objects, and explore incorporating a variety of materials and techniques for surface embellishments. A critique will be held on the last day of class.
