ART FOR THE FAMILY (a.m.)

Designed for ages 6+ with an adult, this two-hour workshop invites children and their parent, grandparent, relative, or friend to create side by side. Inspired by Victor D’Amico’s 1954 book Art for the Family, published by the Museum of Modern Art, the class reflects his belief that “all people have creative ability and that anyone at any age can enjoy and develop their aptitudes in art.”
Through painting, collage, and simple construction techniques, families engage in imaginative exercises that spark creativity, foster collaboration, and encourage participants to discover more about themselves and the world around them through art.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a one day workshop. Please sign up for only ONE workshop per child. Repeat bookings cannot be honored.
