Barge Open Studio is a weeklong self-directed open studio for artists with prior experience or an established practice. Artists work independently in their chosen 2D medium—acrylic, oil, watercolor, tempera, drawing, collage, or mixed media—without instructor guidance. Participants work independently in a communal studio, and are responsible for keeping the space safe, focused, clean, and productive while exploring and pushing their creative boundaries. Participants must bring all of their own materials, supplies and tools, and a Barge representative will be on site for questions and assistance.
