This printmaking course introduces students to a range of printmaking techniques with an emphasis on experimentation, texture, and process. Students will create monotypes, linocuts, collagraphs, and cyanotypes, working on a press with found materials, hand-carved blocks, and light-sensitive processes. Participants will leave with a diverse body of prints and a deeper understanding of printmaking as an expansive, expressive medium. A critique will be held on the final day of class.
