Push the boundaries of 2D art in this experimental collage workshop that will incorporate traditional paper-based collage materials, as well as emphasize the expansive range of 2D mixed media. Through guided demonstrations and open-ended experiments, participants will investigate line, shape, color, texture, and space in innovative ways to create layered and dynamic 2D collaged compositions with various found object materials, inks and paints. A critique will be held on the final day of class.
