Working exclusively in a 9 x 12’’ personal sketchbook, explore the world around you through unique experiments and explorations in drawing. Investigate the visual language of everyday life through drawing: line, form, proportion, shading, and tonal values. Graphite, inks, and watercolor will be employed as participants are guided through unique ways of seeing and transcribing their everyday experiences while working from portraiture, still life, landscape, the figure and the imagination. A critique will be held on the last day of class.
