DESCRIPTION:Open to all levels\nAll supplies provided\nParticipants should bring a collection of color and/or black and white laser printed copies\, no larger than 8 ½ by 11 inches in size\, to the first class.\n\nExplore the process and possibilities of image transfer — lifting ink/toner from a color or black and white laser copier printout and then affixing the image to watercolor paper or canvas. The resulting more transparent image can be used as a point of interest on a surface that becomes integrated into an abstract or representational painting using water-based mediums. DESCRIPTION:Helen Harrison will lead us on a gallery “road trip” to several amazing but lesser-known sites\, each one a unique expression of its creator’s vision. As the former director of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center\, a founding member of National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Historic Artists’ Homes & Studios (HAHS) program\, and a current member of the HAHS executive board. Helen has seen the program grow from an initial cohort of 20 to the current membership of 55\, plus six affiliate sites\, located in 25 states. \nRECEPTION TO FOLLOW.
