DESCRIPTION:Open to all levels\nAll supplies provided\nParticipants can tour the D’Amico House midweek\n\nThrough exercises and demonstrations\, explore the dynamic\, immediate and versatile expression of pastel. Participants will delve into the application of soft\, hard\, and oil pastels on assorted papers to create depth\, perspective\, and overall compositions. Subject material may include still life\, landscape\, botanicals\, light\, and movement. Participants can bring their own pastels and pastel paper\, but basic materials will be provided. DESCRIPTION:Open to all levels\nAll supplies provided\n\nExplore visual language through drawing: line\, form\, composition\, light and shadow\, and conventional and unconventional ways of seeing. Various subject matter and approaches to drawing will be used\, both traditional and contemporary. Work observationally from still life\, the figure\, and imagination to experiment with mark making.
