DESCRIPTION:Previous painting experience encouraged.\nBring your own paint\, brushes and canvases (24” size limitation)\nEasels and tables are available for use in the Studio and on the Barge decks. \nParticipants will tour the D’Amico House midweek. \n\nStudio Process provides individual instruction to artists in a group setting. Instruction aims at heightening the power of expression of each artist in relation to her/his inherent uniqueness. Demonstrations\, motivational set-ups and Friday group critiques are included.  \nArtists may work using any medium: acrylic\, oil\, watercolor\, tempera\, drawing and collage media.  \nInstructor: Bill Nagle

DESCRIPTION:Open to all newcomers \nAll supplies provided \nParticipants will tour the D’Amico House midweek\n\nThis course introduces the beginner painter to techniques and applications of tempera and acrylic paint\, including elements of drawing and collage. In an accepting and enlivening environment\, individual styles and expressions will be encouraged through daily motivating exercises based on Mabel and Victor D’Amico’s innovative teaching practices. Participants should bring an open mind and willingness to explore the potential of painting. A critique will be held on the last day of class. \nInstructor: Chris Kohan
