SUMMARY:IMAGE TRANSFER with John Haubrich (a.m.)
DESCRIPTION:Open to all levels\nAll supplies provided\nParticipants should bring a collection of color and/or black and white laser printed copies\, no larger than 8 ½ by 11 inches in size\, to the first class.\n\nExplore the process and possibilities of image transfer — lifting ink/toner from a color or black and white laser copier printout and then affixing the image to watercolor paper or canvas. The resulting more transparent image can be used as a point of interest on a surface that becomes integrated into an abstract or representational painting using water-based mediums. Experiment with including elements of drawing\, text\, and collage in the painting. Midweek\, participants will tour the D’Amico House to view the collection. A critique will be held on the last day of class. \nThis class is designed for adults.   \nInstructor: John Haubrich
